Matthew P. Mullin

Over the past 20 years, Mr. Mullin has developed an expertise in the nexus of policy, politics and communications. Advocating for a wide range of issues at the state and federal levels throughout his career, Matt has developed strong and trusting relationships with some of the leading state and federal elected officials, agency leaders, and a wide variety of key stakeholders and decision-makers in Washington, DC and beyond.




Greg Schildwachter

Dr. Schildwachter is a professional conservationist advising clients on policy, leadership and strategy, and philanthropy in conservation. He is experienced in issues of local, statewide, and federal scale and familiar with many communities and habitats in the U.S. In a 30-year career, Greg began from a focus on wildlife and forests that has expanded into many topic areas, including water, wetlands, grasslands, and ocean life. His recent work involves bighorn sheep, wolves, several endangered species, invasive species, conservation economics, community conservation, sharks, hunting heritage, and conservation leadership.




Michael Powelson

Michael has extensive experience in federal natural resources conservation and energy policy, focused primarily on conservation of western public lands, energy development and species conservation. Michael has served as the North America Director of Energy Programs for The Nature Conservancy, creating the first comprehensive energy program for the organization. Michael also worked as the Conservancy’s Director of Government Relations for the western United States and Director of Agency Relations for its Northwest and then Pacific & Rocky Mountain regions. Michael is a native Oregonian, attended the University of Oregon and the University of California at Berkeley, and is an avid outdoorsman and fly fisherman.




Gregory Tucker

Greg is a strategic communications professional with over 30 years of demonstrated expertise in devising and implementing integrated approaches and platforms essential to effective communications across diverse sectors: U.S. Federal government, non-profit, the arts, and international corporate financial services. As the global head of communications for a leading Fortune 100 multinational financial services group, Greg worked internationally for more than a half-dozen years. During this period, he managed complex reputational issues for corporate entities in Europe, Asia and North America and was responsible for brand positioning, message alignment and stakeholder communications in the wake of the global financial crisis and recovery period.

Paula Hose

Throughout her career, Ms. Hose has provided administrative support to state agency Secretaries, elected officials, non-profit organizations and private companies. Since 2015, Ms. Hose has provided this support to High Street Strategies, as well as contractual work with other entities.

Prior to joining High Street Strategies, Ms. Hose spent 11 years working for The Chesapeake Bay Commission. Ms. Hose was responsible for overall planning, scheduling, coordinating and oversight for quarterly Commission meetings, including arranging overnight accommodations, planning meals, receptions and special activities such as Congressional Briefings, meetings with Cabinet Administrators and Legislators.
